Thanks for choosing Oh My Bounce! We want your party to be fun, safe, and stress-free, so here’s everything you need to know before your rental day. Questions? Call or text (910) 703-6504 or email Ohmybouncellc@gmail.com.
Business hours: Monday–Friday, 10 AM–7 PM · Saturday–Sunday, 8 AM–8 PM
1. Booking & deposit
- You only need a $1 deposit to reserve your date online.
- After you book, we’ll email you a rental agreement to sign online. We’ll also send a safety waiver, and it has to be signed before your event.
- Remaining balance: Your remaining balance is due by delivery.
- Card payments include a 3.5% convenience fee.
- Peace of Mind Protection is added to every booking, and you can remove it if you don’t want it. Also known as our Optional Accidental Damage Waiver Protection, it waives up to $500 in repair or replacement costs if the rental equipment is accidentally damaged while in your care. Fire, theft, and intentional misuse or abuse are excluded. It costs 8% of your order total.
- Sales tax is added to your invoice.
2. Cancellations & refunds
- Weather is the only reason we issue a refund. If you cancel because of rain or inclement weather before delivery, your deposit is fully refunded.
- Weather cancellation deadline: 8 AM on the day of your rental.
- Cancelling for another reason? You can reschedule as long as your unit hasn’t been delivered yet. Once it’s delivered, there’s no refund.
- If we deliver your equipment and you accept it, there’s no refund if you then choose not to use it.
- If a unit stops working or won’t run, tell us right away so we can fix it. If we aren’t notified and given a chance to correct the problem, no refund is issued.
3. Weather policy
- Rain rescheduling is free. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and you can reschedule your rental because of rain at no extra cost.
- Safety comes first. If severe weather is on the way, or we believe the equipment or riders could be in danger, we may cancel or reschedule your rental before delivery. Examples of severe weather include extreme temperatures, high winds, rain, snow, thunder, and lightning.
- Early pickup: If conditions change and we have to pick up early, you can reschedule your rental for another day within 30 days.
- During your rental: If severe weather rolls in, unplug the inflatable, let it deflate, and keep everyone off it until the weather passes. Never use an inflatable in high or gusty winds, thunderstorms, or lightning.
4. Damage, cleaning & other fees
You’re responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear while the equipment is at your event. These fees may apply:
| Situation | Fee |
|---|---|
| Spilled food or drink, or foreign substances (for example silly string, paint, mud, clay, chemicals) | $50 |
| Excessive cleaning | $50 |
| Damage from negligence (for example cuts or tears, overturning, overloading, improper use) | Full repair cost |
| Damage beyond repair | Full replacement cost |
| Equipment not returned (including theft) | Full replacement value plus recovery costs |
| Returned check (insufficient funds) | $75, plus the full rental balance |
You may also be responsible for weather damage if it could have been prevented by deflating the unit.
5. Power requirements
- Please provide a standard outlet (115 V, 20 amp) within 50 feet of each inflatable. Each blower should be the only thing running on its circuit.
- We bring the blower and extension cord. Please use only our cords.
- No outlet nearby? You can add a generator for $75/day.
- If a blower stops or air pressure drops, have everyone get off right away, then check the plug and the circuit breaker.
6. Water hose (water slides & wet combos)
- Water slides need a working outdoor spigot within 25 feet of the setup area. We provide a standard 25 ft hose.
- Never use water on a dry bounce house. If a dry unit gets wet, an adult needs to wipe it down before anyone gets back on.
7. Setup surface & anchoring
- We can set up on grass, cement, concrete, asphalt, or indoors. Please tell us your surface type when you book.
- Grass: anchored with long steel stakes. Pavement, other hard surfaces, or indoors: anchored with sandbags.
- Can’t use stakes? (for example sprinkler or utility lines, or HOA or venue rules) Choose “Grass – No Stakes” on the quote form.
- The area has to be smooth. We can’t set up on rocks, brick, glass, or jagged objects, or over exposed irrigation or utility lines or their access points.
- Please clear a flat area big enough for the unit. Each product page lists the “Space Needed”.
- Once we’ve set up and anchored the unit, please don’t move it or remove the anchors.
8. Supervision & safety rules
- Riders must be supervised at ALL times. The renter is responsible for supervising the equipment and how it’s used the whole time it’s at the event.
- Keep at least one responsible attendant per inflatable at all times.
- We’ll go over the safety rules when we set up.
- Occupancy: Most manufacturers recommend no more than 5–6 kids of similar size in a bounce house at once, and one rider at a time on a slide. Please also follow the manufacturer’s limits printed on each unit.
House rules
- No shoes. Socks are required when indicated.
- Take off glasses, jewelry, belts, and sharp objects.
- No flips or somersaults.
- No roughhousing or horseplay in or around the equipment.
- No climbing, hanging, standing on, or pulling on the walls, sides, roof, or back.
- No crawling under the unit or its edges.
- Don’t tape, fasten, or hang anything on or inside the inflatable.
- No food, drinks, candy, animals, silly string, or sharp objects inside.
- Never try to move, adjust, or repair a blower.
Insurance: Oh My Bounce carries liability insurance covering our services and equipment.
9. Delivery, setup & pickup
- We deliver, set up, and take down everything.
- Delivery/setup: There isn’t a fixed delivery window. We’ll text you the day before with your delivery time, based on your location and when your party starts.
- Pickup: Unless we’ve agreed otherwise, we pick up the same day we drop off. There isn’t a fixed pickup window.
- Overnight rentals: Available by arrangement. The equipment must be in a secure spot, deflated and covered when it isn’t in use, and the blowers have to be brought indoors.
- If you deflate the unit before we arrive, we’ll need to re-inflate it to inspect it and pack it up.
- Delivery fees depend on distance and are calculated at checkout. Use “Check Delivery” on any product page to see yours. See our Service Area page for the towns we serve.
- Please arrange any gate, entrance, or parking passes we’ll need to reach your setup spot.
